We would suggest you staying in close proximity to either the Perth CBD or surrounding suburbs to the Fremantle train line. This will make things a lot easier especially if you are planning to join us for the Rottnest Boat Cruise. Below are some suggestions.

Kings Park and Botanic Garden - Explore one of the world's largest inner-city parks, offering stunning views of the Perth skyline, walking trails, and beautiful gardens.
Cottesloe Beach - one of Perth's most popular beaches. Ideal for swimming, or a relaxed picnic or sunset fish and chips.
Rottnest Island - Take a ferry (or a private boat) to this stunning island known for its beautiful beaches, snorkelling spots, and the famous quokkas. Cycling is the best way to get around the island.
Swan Valley - Enjoy wine tasting, gourmet food, and local produce in Western Australia’s oldest wine region only 30 mins drive from Perth CBD.

Transport
Driving in Perth is easy and safe, but you may find it’s easier to use a combination of taxis, rideshares and public transport to get around town.
Perth has a public transport system of buses, trains and ferries. To use Perth’s public transport system, it’s recommended that you purchase a Transperth SmartRider card. You can purchase a SmartRider card at Perth Airport, Transperth InfoCentres and SmartRider retail outlets.
Hire car options are available at the airport and within the metro area.
Taxi’s and RideShare options are available.

Getting AROUND SOUTH WEST
transport
The South West Region is vast, as such to get around a car is recommended. Hire car companies are accessible from Perth Airport, Perth Metro and also from Bunbury and Busselton.
Please note that there are No Ubers in the region. There are a few taxi companies that operate with limited fleet. Please be aware and plan accordingly.

Wedding Buses
o We have organised buses through Gannaways to operate for our wedding. These will be leaving from set locations around Dunsborough prior to the wedding, and returning post the conclusion of the wedding from Aravina Estate at 12 midnight.

We will be staying at the Regency Beach Club.
For convenience and best access we would suggest staying around the Dunsborough area.

Overview
Dunsborough, Yallingup and Margaret River are South West towns located a 3 hour drive from Perth metropolitan
Bunbury is a larger town – good place for a coffee pick me up or a rest stop. It is also the home of the Bunbury Farmers Market – a great place for picking up supplies
Busselton – home of the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Great place for a dip and cool off.
